About This Experiment
Posted on 08/29/2009 01:33 pm by DonnaMy name is Donna, and I am a Bikram certified yoga instructor. I have not been teaching or doing much yoga of any kind for the past year. Even though I have not been doing yoga, however, I have been walking and bike riding (cruiser bike). I’m generally pretty healthy, and not over/under weight. The point of this experiment is to simply observe what changes happen to my body by adding a daily yoga practice. Will a generally healthy person notice many changes? I have been taught all of the many benefits of yoga, but I want to actually see and measure them for myself. In the week before this journey, I went to the doctor for a complete physical and also tested my cholesterol and had a baseline blood test done. I also had my body fat tested just for observation. Beginning September 1st, 2009, I will be doing a yoga class every day for one year. You can follow my journey and see what unfolds here.
