Relaxing and deep stretching, good way to end the day.
This was a good class. Â It was basically a yoga class with emphasis on core and abdominal work. Â The instructor used all English terms for the poses insead of using Sanskrit names.
This was a good class although, I did not realize it was teacher led, not a regular taught, yoga class. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Some students seemed very advanced.
Great Ashtanga class today! Hips are still a little tight. Â Was able to do handstands against the wall. Â That’s an improvement.
Today’s class was fun. The instructor seemed really creative. We did some new poses. One exercise we did was while laying in Savasana, we lifted our heads about an inch off the ground, while flexing our feet. I was surprised at how difficult this was.
Great Vinyasa Flow class. The instructor started slowly which is just what I needed. Â My balance felt a little off today. Â I felt a little sore from Ashtanga yesterday. Â Feeling better though.
Great Ashtanga class. Still feeling some aches and pains from driving. Lower back is speaking to me. Instructor tried to adjust me in downward dog and I bent my knees to aviod a full adjustment. My lower back hurts to the touch.
Hot yoga Bikram class. I felt very stiff from the drive. My body really needs to loosen up a bit. Feels like a slight set back. Will make it up this week.
Post drive stretches. Tomorrow I will get back on track.
OK, this is day 3 of no yoga.
I will need to make this up when we are in Portland. Drove 17.5 hours today. What a long trip. Rolled into Portland around 2am.
