Day 39: Great Yin Yoga Class

This was a good class. Just what I needed after over-indulging at a dinner party the night before. :-)  I woke up with a headache and my stomach was a little queasy.   I drank lots of water throughout the day and tried to rehydrate the best I could.  My body seemed to be telling me a restorative yoga class was in order.  I found a Yin Yoga class which holds each stretching posture for 5-10 minutes.  The instructor said that she has read studies that say you have to hold a pose for 10-20 minutes in order to improve the flexibility of that pose. She had us hold 3 different hip stretches for 5 minutes each, so hopefully I will notice improved flexibility in my hips next time!
